Edgar Vera was born in Ensenada Mexico and emigrated to the United States in 1996 when he was 7 years old. He graduated California State University of Long Beach in 2011. Edgar put himself through college by working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as a manager of a McDonald’s in Long Beach. He also volunteered Friday mornings at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. Edgar graduated with a 3.7 GPA with honors with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

Timothy Mitchell is a Los Angeles native, born and raised in Sylmar, California. Since a young age, Timothy planned on becoming a trial attorney. Even in high school, Timothy volunteered to work in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office as a clerk. While his uncle studied for the bar, Timothy would evaluate the caselaw in the books. As a kid, Timothy used to go watch his uncle work as a District Attorney in San Fernando.

Darryl Meigs, an attorney in the Downtown Los Angeles office of Karns and Karns, has extensive civil litigation experience, including multiple multi-million dollar trial verdicts. Darryl is licensed in California state courts, multiple U.S. District Courts in California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Darryl previously clerked for the Honorable Andre Birotte Jr. in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University.

Luis earned his bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and history at the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law school in 2017. During his time in both UT and Baylor, Luis volunteered at multiple non-profit organizations that advocate for immigrants and assisted victims of human trafficking and other violent crimes.
Since Luis became licensed to practice law, he has dedicated his time to helping injured people fight to get the justice that they deserve. His dedication has allowed him to recover millions on behalf of his clients.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University in 2016.
